The Gaijin can show the way
After reviewing many of my positions, I've decided to re-organize my e-space by subject. In this manner, you can skip over those things which are not of interest to you personally, and read through my opinions at your own discretion.

I've also decided to post the articles I've read as an added bonus. Not all of them - just the ones I save for myself...
This is all for now, and I promise to keep them short and sweet.

Please visit back often and learn the truth from the Gaijin.

BIAS

I have been thinking a lot about this word: BIAS. Many people use this word either as a defense against a differing view, or as a weapon aimed at discrediting or otherwise maiming a differing view.

It is bizaare (to say the least) to think that, because he believes in GOD, he cannot conceivably be fit for a seat on a court. It is strange to declare that, because one is pro-this or pro-that, that this disqualifies this person from intellectual conversation with another who non-chalantly passes up any chance to take sides, or express a true feeling.

I think that the word "Bias" has been distorted to mean something else: discriminatory.

Bias is simply defined as the following:

an inclination of temperament or outlook; especially : a personal and sometimes unreasoned judgment

There is nothing criminal or wrong about having a view. I just disagree with "news" outlets who purposely slant, or bias, their reporting to fit their particular views. And this is not limited to one side of our political spectrum, it happens everywhere - and should be controlled. Leave the views and comments for the commentators. That's what they're there for. And they are doing fine without the news man's assistance...
